Stratty has been teaching Piano and Flute lessons privately for over year, starting to teach during his fourth year at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. In September 2024 he took up the role of Woodwind Teacher at Hertfordshire Music Centre, teaching Flute, Saxophone and Piano to both adults and children ranging from 5 years old and up.

Stratty offers tuition in Flute and Saxophone for all levels, and Piano and Clarinet up to a Grade 5 standard. He is currently based in St Albans, but flexible to teach in the surrounding area and London. He is also DBS certified.

Stratty aims to create a relaxed and friendly environment within his lessons, and promotes his students playing music they choose and like; frequently arranging and writing music that suites their interests and playing ability. He believes that creating enjoyment for the instrument is a key factor in developing musical skill. Stratty is happy to work towards grade or audition requirements with students, but is equally excited to teach those whose goal is simply to get better and play more music they enjoy.
